This is it

My grandparents, Ernestine & Leonard Brown were snowbirds.  They traveled to Florida every year to escape the harsh Mid-South winters.  (haha)  Their duplex was named This Is It.  We all said it superfast in one word ThisIsit.  The home was located on Villabella Drive and there was a sweet little lamppost out front with the house’s name on a wooden sign.  We spent many Thanksgivings, Christmases and Spring Breaks in Thisisit with our Mema Brown and Papa.   After they had both gone home to Jesus the duplex was sold.  ThisIsIt is gone but not forgotten.

Gone are the days, for the most part, where homes are known strictly by their names not their address.  I love crossing the Ben Sawyer to Sullivans Island and seeing the old beach cottages still bearing wonderful names.  Not too long ago a friend was telling me how to get to her old beach house and she said, “you know where Oleander Cottage is, you turn right there”, I love southern directions!

Whether you are looking for a vacation home or primary residence, I would love to help you find your ThisIsIt.
